Trade Marketing Specialist, Professional

Job Description

Are you a passionate marketing and sales professional looking for an exciting new challenge? 

As Trade Marketing Specialist, you are the link between sales and marketing. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Support our Sales team in assuring local brand visibility and consistent brand expression in cooperation with Finance and Marketing (instore and online) to produce various cross-functional initiatives
  • Defining short-term and long-term opportunities for total category development locally.
  • Play a leading role in strategic customer development projects, strong operational and promotional activities, and campaign deployment.
  • Effective ownership and management of any 3rd party suppliers relating to field activation & trade marketing development including the Sales Excellence program.
  •  Consolidate and communicate the priorities for the Field sales team each month
  • Help to prepare and participate in any sales force cycle meetings to share future, relevant information and receive feedback from field sales.
  • Work towards the end goal of helping our trade partners increase category and brand sales.
  • Build detailed customer marketing plans and consistently follow up on results that are documented and reported to generate new relevant shopper/channel insights.

We're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Degree in business or marketing or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) market knowledge
  • Knowledge of information system tools (AC Nielsen, IRI, Sap r3, BW, Spaceman, fsse workplace, TNS, Catman)
  • Sales experience recommended
